# Messages

PointGuard carries message threads and drafts across Guth app routes while delivery, contact lookup, and Agent provider execution remain visibly held.

## Persistent threads

The web projection retains selected thread, participants, title, draft body, locally staged messages, timestamps, and delivery state across route changes and browser tabs.

## Delivery state

Staged locally is not sent. The current surface has no external transport, contact provider, destination verification, or Agent execution route and labels delivery held.

## Native relationship

Messages is a named Notebook and Guth Business surface. The web mini-app keeps important context close while the full owning surface is responsible for routing, attachments, receipts, and delivery controls.

## Required qualification

Before connection, message identity, recipient resolution, attachment custody, authorization, retry and failure states, provider receipts, and final-send ownership require explicit tests and review.
