# Seeing and Capture

Seeing is a one-tap PointGuard action that opens the owning Capture surface; the native product declares photo, video, scan, import review, and protected-copy flows.

Status: **prototype**Lifecycle: **native-observed-web-indexed**

**Development snapshot.** This page records observed or planned work at a point in time. It does not mean the capability is released. [Read the release status guide.](<https://guthlabs.ai/docs/release-status/>)

## Persistent access

A Seeing button remains in the PointGuard header and in the current-work and Notebook mini-apps so capture is reachable regardless of the selected signed-in app route.

## Observed native surface

The inspected native hierarchy names Seeing and Capture, while the Business camera flow declares photo, video, document scan, import review, discard, and proposed Vault copy behavior.

## Web boundary

The current web route is an indexed local surface. It does not request camera permission, ingest media, upload bytes, perform recognition, or copy an asset into Vault.

## Qualification gate

A connected implementation must make permission state, source media, review/discard behavior, storage destination, access state, and an effect receipt inspectable before release.

These pointers bind the page to evidence. They do not grant authority or collapse verification into deployment.
