# Cloudflare operations — tools

The distinct tools record for Cloudflare operations. This page is proposal-only.

Status: **proposed**Lifecycle: **candidate**

## Record status

**Record ID**: field-guide:cloudflare-operations

**Parent lifecycle**: candidate

**Page lane**: tools

**Lane lifecycle**: proposed

**Owner**: Stan

**Owner role**: Not separately recorded

**Owner status**: Not separately recorded

**Qualification result**: NOT RUN · held for evidence and human review

**Working browser surface:** [Field guides — documentation](<https://guthlabs.ai/docs/field-guides/>) — Inspect the guide and persist local checkpoints. This route is local-only; provider, credential, database, customer, publication, deployment, and production effects remain held.

## Authoritative tools lane tools and interfaces

### Canonical tools-page assignments

- **PointGuard** (interface · required) — Provides a persistent contextual room for the current Cloudflare operations work while leaving specialist apps as execution and canonical-record owners; it must not be treated as a provider console or production control plane.

- **Notebook Field Guides** (interface · required) — Hosts this bounded, source-backed procedure and links related records; its indexed route does not prove connected web behavior.

- **Notebook To-dos** (interface · required) — Tracks owned work with due dates, priorities, completion state, tags, and human-review signals; it must not become hidden automation.

- **Notebook Approvals** (interface · required) — Separates proposed, approved, and held decisions and preserves receipts; approval is local evidence, not authorization to alter Cloudflare or production.

- **Notebook Agent Logs** (interface · required) — Records authority boundaries, evidence, failures, and handoff receipts for Stan and related agents.

- **Notebook Files** (interface · required) — Keeps source-labelled local file references beside records without implying upload, provider storage, or protected remote custody.

- **HTTP Status Code / Header Lookup** (provider · optional) — Helps interpret a supplied HTTP status code or header value during evidence review. It must not be used as a live Cloudflare request, endpoint probe, DNS check, credential test, deployment verification, or production-state claim.

- **Checksum Verifier** (provider · optional) — Helps compare an explicitly supplied file or record digest with an expected digest when preserving receipt integrity. It must not be used to establish database authority, provenance beyond the supplied inputs, authenticity of Cloudflare responses, or successful publication.

Only the page's admitted lane is rendered as an assignment. Other lane inventories remain source records but are not merged here. Tool kind and required/optional status are preserved.

## Authoritative lane instrument assignments

### Canonical tools-page assignments

[http-status-code-header-lookupoptional · Interpret supplied HTTP status and header values as educational reference material; label outputs as derived from provided inputs and not live observations.](<https://guthlabs.ai/docs/instruments/http-status-code-header-lookup/>)[checksum-verifieroptional · Verify a supplied checksum against an explicitly supplied expected value and attach the result to the local evidence receipt; do not infer authenticity or deployment state.](<https://guthlabs.ai/docs/instruments/checksum-verifier/>)

An instrument listed only for another lane does not become a tools-page assignment.

## Use boundary

- A named Cloudflare operations guide or route does not prove Cloudflare provider connection, credentials, DNS authority, firewall authority, database authority, customer indexing, publication, or deployment.

- HTTP lookup output may be mistaken for a live probe; all instrument panels must display supplied-input and educational-use boundaries.

- Checksum agreement does not prove that a file is authentic, current, safe, or deployed.

- Incomplete logs, stale headers, copied configuration, and ambiguous timestamps can produce false incident conclusions.

- Approval records can be mistaken for execution receipts; external sends and writes remain human-held.

- Sensitive credentials, tokens, customer data, and private infrastructure details must not be copied into public docs or unclassified notes.

- Erroneous due dates or missing owners can hide operational risk; overdue and Held states must remain visible.

- Instrument outputs must not substitute for qualified security, SRE, legal, or change-management review.
