## Review findings

The arithmetic is correct under SI units with rho = 1025 kg/m^3, g = 9.81 m/s^2, significant wave height Hs, and energy period Te. Resolve the period definition and replace or revise the sinusoidal honest label before release.

### Formula and scope findings

- The formula is standard for significant wave height Hs combined with energy period Te (or an equivalent spectral period), but the specification only says generic wave period; that period definition is ambiguous.

- The honest label says sinusoidal wave approximation, but the 1/(64π) coefficient is the standard deep-water irregular-wave result using significant wave height. For a regular sinusoidal wave using crest-to-trough height H, the corresponding coefficient is 1/(32π).

- The deep-water applicability constraint is not specified. A depth input or an explicit requirement such as depth being at least approximately half the wavelength is needed to verify the approximation.

### Unit assumptions

- Use seawater density rho = 1025 kg/m^3 unless another value is explicitly selected.

- Use gravitational acceleration g = 9.81 m/s^2.

- Significant wave height Hs must be in metres.

- Wave period Te must be in seconds; minutes must be converted by multiplying by 60.

- The formula produces power in watts per metre of crest; divide by 1000 to report kW/m.

- The deep-water assumption requires sufficiently large depth relative to wavelength, commonly depth greater than about half the wavelength.

## Boundary hardening

**BREAK_CLAIMED** · SELF_FLAGGED

The plain-arithmetic implementation can overflow to Infinity for extreme finite inputs, and the specification provides no alternate formula or depth input for the shallow/intermediate-water branch even though the advertised formula is explicitly limited to deep water.

## Errata and corrections

No applied erratum is attached to this unique-name record.
