Authoritative tools lane tools and interfaces
Canonical tools-page assignments
- Notebook Field Guides (interface · optional) — Use to present this bounded procedure, prerequisites, linked records, and ordered review steps; it does not establish publication or provider connectivity.
- Notebook Notes (interface · optional) — Use for source-labelled voice observations, examples, exclusions, and unresolved questions with provenance and revision tracking.
- Notebook Paper (interface · optional) — Use to draft and revise copy while keeping export and external effects held.
- Notebook Messages (interface · optional) — Use to prepare review requests or customer-facing drafts while final send remains human-held.
- Notebook Files (interface · optional) — Use for local, source-labelled asset references and metadata; do not treat a reference as an uploaded or protected asset.
- Notebook Approvals (interface · optional) — Use to record Needs review, Approved, or Held decisions and preserve receipts without implying external approval effects.
- Notebook To-dos (interface · optional) — Use to track explicit workback deadlines, completion state, priorities, dependencies, and human-review signals.
- PointGuard (interface · optional) — Use as the persistent contextual room for the current brand-voice task; specialist apps remain canonical owners of records.
- Brand voice field guide (guide · required) — Use as the governing procedure for source checking, drafting, accessibility review, approval routing, and post-performance recording.
- Canonical draft record (record · required) — Own the current draft revision, linked evidence, asset references, review state, and handoff history.
- Approval record (record · required) — Own the decision state, reviewer, rationale, unresolved issues, and receipt for each draft revision.
Only the page's admitted lane is rendered as an assignment. Other lane inventories remain source records but are not merged here. Tool kind and required/optional status are preserved.
Authoritative lane instrument assignments
Canonical tools-page assignments
reading-time-estimatoroptional · Check approximate reading time for a draft when length and audience attention are explicit constraints; treat the result as an estimate, not evidence of comprehension or engagement.wcag-contrast-ratio-checkeroptional · Check text and background color pairs for linked visual assets or layouts; use as an accessibility check, not as a complete accessibility audit or proof that an asset is suitable.
An instrument listed only for another lane does not become a tools-page assignment.
Use boundary
- A named owner agent does not prove that the agent is connected to a provider or authorized to publish.
- Treating stylistic interpretation as source fact can create unsupported brand rules; label interpretations separately.
- A local draft, message, approval, or asset reference does not prove external send, upload, publication, or customer indexing.
- Do not use reading time as a proxy for clarity, comprehension, conversion, or audience behavior.
- Do not use contrast ratio as a complete accessibility, brand, or color-management validation.
- Do not infer customer identity, audience membership, live performance, or publication status from local records.
- Missing source provenance, stale revisions, ambiguous ownership, and conflicting approvals must produce a Held state rather than silent resolution.
- Never place credentials, protected assets, or unverified provider data in notes or draft fields.
