Memory and agents
Guth is being designed as a persistent agent whose purpose, memory, tools, and permissions you can review.
Status: in developmentLifecycle: product direction
An agent has a defined job
An agent starts with a purpose, the tools it may use, the information it may remember, and the actions that must wait for approval.
Useful memory keeps its source
The goal is to retain useful decisions, preferences, and records instead of entire conversations by default. A memory should link back to its source and remain correctable.
Continuity is a development goal
Guth aims to carry the same inspectable context across later conversations and supported devices. Cross-device continuity is a vision in development, not a released synchronization promise.
People keep control
Permissions define which work may be prepared and which consequential actions require a person’s approval.
