Working browser surface: Field guides — documentation — Inspect the guide and persist local checkpoints. This route is local-only; provider, credential, database, customer, publication, deployment, and production effects remain held.

Hypothetical scenarios

A reviewer opens the Contact histories guide for bounded local rehearsals. Every fixture uses invented placeholders, performs no provider or external action, and remains held until source evidence and human review are recorded.

1. Guided inquiry fixture

A reviewer records a bounded question, links only supplied source references, and marks every unanswered point Needs review.

2. Source comparison fixture

A reviewer compares two hypothetical source locators, preserves disagreement, and holds any conclusion until provenance is supplied.

3. Uncertainty and pathway fixture

4. Potentially allowed claim fixture

Review questions

  • A new history can be created with an owner, related job, visibility, and canonical ID.
  • Each chronology entry requires a source locator or an explicit missing-source state; unsupported entries cannot be marked verified.
  • The interface visibly distinguishes observed evidence, interpretation, uncertainty, and open questions.
  • A source note preserves provenance, revision information, and source SHA-256 when supplied.
  • A local file reference records type and size and clearly indicates that upload and protected storage are held.
  • Follow-up items expose due date, priority, completion state, owner, and review or held status.
  • Search results respect visibility and identify record type and source labels.
  • Message drafts display recipient, source context, draft state, and a human-held final-send state.
